Enes Lievens was born in 1997 and grew up in Belgium, in 2015 he started his engineering education here at Ghent University. he received his Masters degree in Engineering Physics in 2020. After graduating, he joined the Liquid Crystals & Photonics group and Photonics Research Group as part of a joint research project on the integration of novel thin films for photonics integrated circuits in order to achieve a fully photonic neuromorphic computing chips.
