I was born and grew up in the Swiss Alps. I did my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. In between my Bachelor and my Master I did an internship in the R&D department at Optotune where they develop active optical components. I graduated from my master's degree in Quantum Engineering in 2022 at ETH Zurich. In the framework of my master's degree I did an internship in the superconducting qubit group and my master thesis in the (quantum) electro-optic amplifier group of imec.I proceeded with my PhD in the same group at imec.
